About us
A small team that makes the calls, fills in the forms, and rings back.
Our story
St. Bagoush Foundation began with a simple observation: help for older adults exists in most neighbourhoods, but people rarely know which door to knock on — and the door is often closed by the time they find it.
We started as a handful of volunteers with a paper list of who could help with what. Today a small team of coordinators keeps that list current, takes requests by phone and through this website, and stays with each request until there is a real answer.
We are not a clinic, a lender or a benefits office. We are the people who make the calls, fill in the forms alongside you, and ring back to check it worked.
What we believe
We listen first
Every request starts with a conversation. Nobody has to prove they deserve help before being heard.
We take our time
Older adults are not rushed off the phone here. We repeat things, and we write them down properly.
We follow up
A referral is not the end. We check back, note what really happened, and try again when something falls through.
Your information
What you tell us is seen only by our coordinators. We never ask for a social security number or bank details on this website, and we never sell or share your information.
